MRS. FRANZEN HAS BEEN TRAVELING WITH MAGELLAN STUDY ABROAD FOR MORE THAN 6 YEARS. AS ONE OF OUR FIRST CUSTOMERS OF GROUP TRAVEL AND AN AVID SUPPORTER OF MAGELLAN STUDY ABROAD. SHE KNOWS MAGELLAN IS TAKING CARE OF ALL THE STRESSFUL BITS OF ORGANIZING A GROUP TRAVEL PROGRAM

"One aspect which sets Magellan Study Abroad apart is the opportunity for our students to connect personally with students of the host country. On the Greek Island of Paros, local students welcomed ours with a presentation of Greek dancing, cuisine, and a historical presentation about island culture; my students had the opportunity to attend classes and spend the afternoon touring Parikia with the very best guides, locals their own age.

While at the Fondazione Passarelli, in San Marco di Castellebate, Italy, my students baked pizza in an outdoor wood-burning oven, crafted pastries, and hand-pressed gnocchi.

In Bayeux, France, my  students were warmly welcomed; the French students spent the day teaching my students local customs, trends, and local cuisine; the day ended with the French students sharing the history of their town and families with a tour of the famous Bayeux Tapestry.

My students have visited schools in Mestre, Florence, and San Marco di Castellebate, Italy; Bayeux and Nice, France as well as Parikia, Greece. Each and every time, my students beg to spend more time with their new friends; often, these cultural exchanges result in lasting friendships.

The personal and cultural connections my students have made through their experiences with Magellan Study Abroad are priceless; no other student travel company offers opportunities like these."
